We don't just ask for ratings — we ask for honest feedback at the end of every trip. These are real evaluation forms our guests filled out by hand, rating our guides, drivers, and hotels. Every tick marks "Excellent."

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Mostly high-speed rail — clean, fast (Beijing to Xi'an in 4.5 hrs), no airport hassle. For long legs like Beijing–Zhangjiajie or Chengdu–Lhasa, we book domestic flights with the same airline, full-service carriers, not budget airlines. Your guide handles all transfers — station pickup, ticket pickup, luggage, seat assignment. You walk, we carry.
-
Up to you. Standard packages average 2-3 main sights per day (e.g. Tiananmen + Forbidden City + Hutong walk). Want a slow morning and one big thing a day? We trim. Want to pack the Great Wall + Summer Palace in one day? We do that too. Real flexibility means we build it around your pace on day one, not a fixed template.
-
We run it ourselves. Our own teams live in 9 Chinese cities (Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, Chongqing, Kunming, Ürümqi, Lhasa, Guiyang, Guilin). The guide who picks you up is on our payroll, not a freelance subcontractor. There's no middleman inflating the price or rewriting the itinerary.

None. Zero commission stops. The only "shop" stops are optional — e.g. a tea house in Zhangjiajie where locals drink, or a jade workshop in Xi'an if you want to learn the craft. We make the boundaries crystal clear in writing before you pay: what's included, what's optional, what's never on the agenda.

Breakfast is always included (hotel buffet). Lunch and dinner: your choice. Option A — let us pre-book set menus at vetted local restaurants (¥60-150 per person, paid by you on the spot). Option B — your guide walks you to a place you like and you order what you want. No "tourist menu" markups, no required group meals. The only extra you should budget is souvenirs and personal tips (tips are appreciated but never required, ¥50-100/day for guide and driver if service was great).

We speak English, Russian, and Chinese. The most reliable way to reach us inside China is WeChat — it works everywhere, no VPN needed, and your guide replies on it all day. Add us: WeChat & LINE ID manmanlovetravel, WhatsApp +86 172 6789 8631 (note: WhatsApp needs a VPN inside China, but we stay reachable on it after you return home), and email rosewuqjzhi@gmail.com. You get one dedicated planner from inquiry to the day you fly home — never a chatbot, never a generic inbox.

We have 24/7 on-call support in Beijing. Your guide picks up the phone any hour of the night. Lost passport? We have the exact police-station playbook for every city and a same-day contact at the embassy. Want to add a stop tomorrow? One message and it's confirmed. We've handled hospital visits, missed flights, surprise anniversary dinners, and once even a same-day marriage proposal at Tianmen Mountain. You focus on the trip; we handle the rest.

4-6 weeks is the sweet spot for best prices and hotel availability, but we've put together tours in 5 days. You can also book with flexible dates: we hold your draft itinerary, you lock it in once your visa and flights are set. Deposit is 30% to confirm, balance on arrival in cash or card. Free cancellation up to 14 days before — written into your contract.
